A trusted, safe private alternative to support your patients
Many patients are now turning to their GP for support with weight loss, but NHS pathways aren’t always suitable or accessible. That’s why we created the EMPOWER weight management programme – a private, clinically led service that combines supervised medication with personalised support and education.
Developed by our in-house clinical team at Spirit Health – a company with over 10 years’ experience working with the NHS – EMPOWER provides a structured, medically supervised approach to weight loss. It’s designed to help patients lose weight safely and sustainably, reducing the risk of future complications and the need for further clinical interventions.
Why GPs like EMPOWER's weight management programme

Backed by personal experience
Our Medical Director and a practicing GP of over 20 years, Dr. Richard Palin, wasn’t always at the weight he is now.
Over the years, he tried various weight loss methods, but none of them stuck. After one year of being supported by weight loss medication and a shift in mindset, Richard is proud to have lost over 44kg (7 stone), and has helped to shape the programme into what it is today.
