Why consistency is the secret ingredient

When it comes to weight loss, it’s easy to focus on the big milestones. But more often, success comes from the small things you do every day. Whether it’s taking your medication, making healthy food choices, or getting out for a walk – consistency is what adds up.

Why consistency matters with medication

If you’ve been prescribed a weight loss injection, it’s important to take it as directed. These medications are designed to work gradually, helping to regulate your appetite and support long-term changes in eating habits.

Missing doses, skipping weeks, or stopping suddenly can:

  • Reduce the effectiveness of the medication
  • Make side effects more likely when restarting
  • Interrupt your progress and motivation

Think of it like building momentum. Once you get into a rhythm, your body (and mind) respond better.

For example, a top tip is to can set a reminder on your phone or use a calendar to track your injection days. Little routines make a big difference.
